Weekend Fun!

Today is Tuesday!!!! It's the day I get my new car! Now, I have to come up with a name to name my new car. *wink*

The pictures I've uploaded will say it all. Remember, each picture contains thousands of words.

This past weekend was fun. Randy and I didn't get to accomplish much around the yard or house work because a few things came up in between. His daughter, Alyssa asked him a favor to come out and get half of her belongings before she comes home for good this summer. While he did that, I decided to take my time friday evening and get some things done. Near my old job in Oriskany, NY, there's a new place called Self Serve Dog Wash! I said to myself, I gotta check this baby out. I went down to my parents and got my golden retriever, Summer out for a ride, decided to give her a bath and spend our time together for a bit since I lead a hectic schedule during week days. After all, Summer enjoyed the bath and all that. It's well worth the trip and $5.

Saturday, Hua and Jeremy met us in Syracuse where Randy could help Hua negotiate and purchase a new 2008 Hyundai Elantra at Fuccillo. All went very well and now, Hua is a happy man once again. We enjoyed our lunch at TGI Fridays, shared a lot of past memories and laughter. A couple close calls of almost peeing my pants! Then, we took a quick trip to Sam's Club. Some neat stuff there that BJ's doesn't carry. Randy ended up buying some boat shoes and dress socks there. Then we departed as each of us had other plans for the evening.

Sunday morning, I went shopping to gather up some things for this upcoming "special" weekend away from home. More details to follow later. You'll understand why. *smiles* Then, sunday late afternoon, Randy and I attended to our friends' baptism party and enjoyed the buffet there for dinner. Came home and cleaned up the house a bit, did laundry and then passed out for the night.

*Our new pet in the photo if you're wondering: it's a woodchuck that has dug this HUGE hole underneath the concrete foundation. We've asked DEC officers and others if there's anything we can do about it. They'll tell you it's best to shoot/trap it. Knowing me, having a BIG heart for nature and animals, I don't want to shoot it! Even if someone does, I don't want to hear about it! Randy doesn't have a gun and he has a heart for animals too. Supposedly, a DEC officer is going to let us borrow one of their live traps so we can remove this before more problems arise.
